Documents Required for Admission – Academic Session 2026–27

The following documents are required for admission to the first year of B.Tech, BBA, BCA, MBA and MCA, and for second-year B.Tech admission through lateral entry.

Documents Required from All Candidates

1. UPTAC-2026 Allotment Letter, if admission is through UPTAC-2026 Counselling.
2. Original Class 10 Mark Sheet and Certificate
3. Original Class 12 Mark Sheet
4. Original Transfer Certificate (TC) for undergraduate programmes / University Migration Certificate, as applicable.
5. Original Character Certificate from the last attended institution.
6. Original Medical Certificate issued by the CMO or CMS.
7. Photocopy of Aadhaar Card (UID/EID) – both sides
8. Four recent passport-size colour photographs 

Additional Document for B.Tech Lateral Entry

Documents Required, Where Applicable

• Domicile Certificate – if the qualifying school is outside Uttar Pradesh.
• Gap Affidavit – if there is a gap between passing Class 10 and the date of admission.
• Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC) issued by the competent authority. The certificate must be issued after 1 April 2026.
• Annual Income Certificate of Parent – for SC/ST/OBC candidates, where applicable.
• EWS Certificate – for candidates applying under the General EWS category. 

Photocopies

Candidates must also bring one set of self-attested photocopies of the applicable documents listed above.
